Karm Hans, MSc, ND
After graduating from the University of Calgary with a double degree in Chemistry and Environmental Sciences, Karm moved on to complete a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry. Although initially interested in pursuing a career in medicine, Karm’s graduate work, looking at drugs with anticancer properties – led her into an exploration of the pharmaceutical industry. She began to question conventional therapies and felt that there had to be a more complete model of health and self-healing than she was being exposed to. Eventually, her search led her to the field of Naturopathic Medicine, and she moved from Calgary to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. This integrative program allowed Karm to explore and combine numerous healing modalities. Karm believes strongly in the healing power of nature and the innate ability of the human organism to heal itself. She is dedicated to creating long-lasting connections with her clients and consistently guides them on their journey to optimal health empowering them with knowledge and skills, so that they can make healthy choices and maintain their health both now and in the future.
