Nancy Majoulian MBA, CNP

Nancy Majoulian, a former executive within the aerospace industry has an established track-record in the business world for over 15 years. She has extensive practical experiences in business development, sales and marketing.  She also has a Business Management degree from Concordia University, Montreal and an MBA from the Canadian Management Center in Toronto.

Back in 2008, Nancy had a ski accident where she underwent 3 surgeries in 3 months. Determined to get back on her feet, she put together an alternative health and wellness program for herself. The doctors originally said it would take at least 12 months before she would be fully functional, but Nancy made a full recovery in less than 6 months.

In 2014, Nancy decided to receive formal training as a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, graduating with first class honours from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Nancy specializes in plant-based nutrition with over 6 years of experience in producing functional plant strong meal plans and 10 years of experience in the management of health & wellness through nutrition.

Nancy is an advocate of health, wellness and mindfulness. She believes that everything we do affects not only our wellbeing, but all life and our planet. Therefore she founded Gaia LifeForce. Nancy teaches Comparative Diets at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition’s Toronto and Mississauga Campuses.

  • CD011 Comparative Diets

    This course provides information about the holistic principles of food dynamics and their application for optimal health and well-being. Students learn and assess the many therapeutic benefits and limitations of several alternative diet approaches including: low-fat diets (Pritikin and Ornish), high protein diets (Dr. Atkins, Protein Power, Zone, Carbohydrate Addict), Glycemic Index and longevity diets (Macrobiotics, Okinawa). Various vegetarian plans are discussed with an emphasis on understanding protein complementation and Natural Hygeine diets (Hippocrates, Fruitarian, Juicing). The course will also address general cleansing diets for caffeine, alcohol and nicotine detoxing. With the knowledge gained in this course students will be able to evaluate and design customized health-promoting diets and lifestyle programs for any individual.
