Dr. Jessica Eastman, ND
Jessica is a Naturopathic Doctor from a small town in Ontario who is thrilled to call Vancouver her home now. She graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University, where she gained appreciation for the connection between mind and body, and discovered how intimately linked emotional, spiritual and physical health are. She then completed the Naturopathic Medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. During her studies she developed a passion for helping people to solve their health problems while achieving optimal health and happiness.
Jessica has worked in public clinics treating patients with Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity; low-income community health centres with a focus on addictions, eating disorders and mental illness; and in a private clinic that treats mental health and addictions holistically. Her current interests lie in mental health, mind-body medicine, and hormonal and immune system disorders.
Although she has always had a passion for sharing her love of health and medical knowledge, Jessica is especially excited to be a part of the IHN Vancouver team teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology (HAP01) and Nutritional Symptomatology Part 2 (NS003). She looks forward to inspiring her students and positively impacting the careers of future graduates of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition’s Vancouver campus.
