Jamie Shaw BHSc, PTS, CNP and NNCP
Jamie received a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Western Ontario. She earned her Certified Nutritional Practitioner designation in October 2013, graduating with first class honours from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. She is the founder of Jamie Lynn Shaw, where she started her career working online through her website, building nutrition protocols to help her clients renew and reclaim their health.
Her husband played professional hockey which allowed her to live in many different places all over the world, a few of them being Florida, California, Germany and most recently Scotland. Jamie is also a Certified Personal Trainer who works with clients towards their health and fitness goals building both nutrition and training plans. Her passions are fitness and Holistic Nutrition and she believes that the two go hand-in-hand when striving for optimal health and overall wellness.
Jamie teaches several courses at at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition Ottawa Campus: Professional Practice, Comparative Diets and Nutrition and Health: The Fundamentals. She is one of IHN’s Student Clinic Advisors selected for her ability to guide students in both protocol development and how to express the foundations of changes to clients so that compliance and a shift in habits leads to optimal health outcomes.
Jamie’s nutrition focus includes digestive health, hormonal imbalances, weight loss, detoxification, mental health, chronic pain, concussion and brain injury. On top of being a Holistic Nutritionist, Jamie is also a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society.
