Canadian Certification

IHN’s Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition is recognized and approved by the Certified Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada (CNPCC), the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC) and the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP). The designation CNP is earned exclusively by graduates of IHN.

Upon graduation, application for registration will be provided for submission to CNPCC and IONC or CANNP. Graduates of IHN are fully qualified, with no further examinations, to receive the RNCP/ROHP designation from the IONC.

American Certification

Graduates of IHN’s Applied Holistic Nutrition program, who wish to practice in the United States, qualify to become professional members of the American organization, the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (USA). NANP is a non-profit business league of nutrition professionals originally founded in 1985 as the Society of Certified Nutritionists. The NANP represents holistically trained nutrition professionals. Their mission is to enhance the integrity of the holistic nutrition profession through self-governance, educational standards and a rigorous code of ethics.
