1. What brought you to study Holistic Nutrition at IHN?

I was drawn to study Holistic Nutrition at IHN because I’ve always had a deep interest in health and nutrition. It was something instilled in me from a young age in my family, and I’ve always known the power behind nutrition. As I faced my own personal health journeys, they led me to explore holistic approaches, especially in hormone health, menstrual cycle awareness, and fertility.

2. What professions have you worked in prior to enrolling at IHN?

Before enrolling at IHN, I worked (and I still am working) in education. I currently teach kindergarten in elementary education, and that experience has been invaluable in helping me grow as a person, communicate, and support others.

3. What degrees or academic achievements did you have prior to IHN?

I have a background in education, which gave me a strong foundation in teaching, communication, and guiding others.

4. What are your goals and aspirations as a CNP?

My goals as a CNP are to work with women, especially in hormone balance, menstrual cycle health, and fertility. I want to help women understand their bodies, feel empowered, and have the tools to guide their health journeys. I truly believe health is holistic—nutrition is one domain, but there are so many: I love exploring biohacking, spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of health. I also love eating a diverse range of foods and adding as many plants as I can into my meals. Gardening is another passion of mine—I love growing my own food and connecting with nature that way.

5. What has been your personal best achievement?

My personal best achievement has been getting married to my husband, Eric, this past July 2025. Building a marriage with him has been an incredible achievement and a huge source of joy.

6. What is something you overcame in your life, that you didn’t think you could?

I overcame a period of disconnection from my body’s signals. Although I relied on external advice at times, I learned to trust my intuition, and it’s been a huge part of my growth.

7. What is something about you that would surprise people?

Something interesting about me is that I caught the travel bug later in life—I didn’t start traveling until I was 27. Since then, I’ve explored many places, such as Portugal, Spain, Greece, Morocco, and more. I’m eager to keep discovering more. Next on my list is Italy, France, and Hawaii.

8. Is there anything you would like to share about your experience at IHN so far?

My passion to pursue nutrition really came from my own personal health journeys. At IHN, I’m loving how interconnected everything is—nutrition, stress, and hormones and it’s inspiring me every day.
