Awarded exclusively to graduates of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, the Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) designation distinguishes you as a trained holistic nutrition practitioner with both in-depth theoretical knowledge and applied clinical competency.
Graduates leave the program with a recognized professional credential they can use in practice, in business, and publicly as part of their professional identity.
This designation also enables access to established professional associations, including the International Orthomolecular and Neurotherapies Council (IONC), the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP), and the Association of Naturopathic Professionals of Québec (ANPQ), allowing graduates to further expand their credentials and recognition across Canada and internationally.
The Institute of Holistic Nutrition is a registered private career college, delivering the Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition within a structured and recognized educational framework.

PTIB The Institute of Holistic Nutrition’s Vancouver campus is registered with the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education in British Columbia.
PTIB sets and maintains standards for private career colleges, ensuring institutions meet established requirements for education delivery, quality, and student protection.
EQA The Institute of Holistic Nutrition holds the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation through its Vancouver campus from the Government of British Columbia.
EQA identifies post-secondary institutions that meet or exceed provincial quality standards and is recognized globally as a symbol of quality education and consumer protection.
CIC The Institute of Holistic Nutrition is a designated learning institution (DLI) for international students in British Columbia, allowing eligible students to apply for study permits to enroll in the full Diploma Program.
Accepted students receive the required documentation to support their study permit application.
Graduates of the Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition are eligible to register with recognized professional associations across Canada, including the International Orthomolecular and Neurotherapies Council (IONC), the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP), and the Association of Naturopathic Professionals of Québec (ANPQ).
Through these organizations, graduates may obtain additional professional designations, such as the RNCP/ROHP through the IONC, the NNCP through CANNP, or the title of Naturopath or Naturotherapist through the ANPQ.
