ALISON KLEKTAU CNP

Alison is a 2013 Vancouver campus honours graduate, currently living in Vancouver, BC. Alison works with YYoga, teaching a variety of yoga and Pilates fusion classes. Since her studies with IHN, she has earned her certifications in Mat Pilates through Physical Mind Institute, as well as her 200 hour yoga teacher training, 70 hour YHot and 50 hour Yin fromYYoga. Having struggled with depression, anxiety and disordered eating, holistic nutrition offered a place to develop a deeper compassion for herself, creating a path on what self-love meant for her. When she found yoga soon after graduation, she discovered a practice that was fluid, playful, rich, dynamic, purposeful and wholehearted. Alison was able to find a whole new level of connection that continues to ask her to grow as a student, teacher and human. Alison is an alignment-based teacher who believes in a strong supportive practice. Her classes reflect a wholehearted practice that aim to challenge while creating space to (re)connect back to ourselves with every breath so that students can leave feeling empowered. Additional to her classes at YYoga, Alison offers private instruction for corporate or small group settings.
