Jill is a 2003 North York campus graduate working in Toronto, ON. Prior to attending IHN, she earned her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE) and her BA in Psychology at Queen’s University. Working as a practitioner since 2001, Jill is part of the integrative health team at P3 HealthClinic in Toronto, Canada. She is also a Trusted Advisor for Zwell.ca, and a PRO with League.com. Jill is the author of The Paleo Diabetes Diet Solution as well as the best-selling book, The Best Baby Food. She also writes articles for a number national print and online publications. Additionally, She is certified as a First Line Therapist in Lifestyle Medicine by Metagenics and as a Stress and Wellness Consultant by the Hans Selye Foundation and The Canadian Institute of Stress. Jill has been a faculty member of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition since 2005, teaching the continuing education course Blood Sugar Management In Practice. She is a member of The Canadian Association of Natural Nutrition Practitioners and the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Shauna is a 2016 North York campus graduate, currently located in Toronto, ON. Shauna is an advocate for body positivity, eating disorder awareness and prevention, and female empowerment. Ever since graduating with first class honours and as her class valedictorian, Shauna has continued her dedicated work in the nutrition field, especially in the area culinary nutrition. Prior to finding a more holistic life, Shauna struggled for 12 years in her young life with an eating disorder and also experienced periods of depression. Her own personal battle with food coupled with her experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, and her education in nutrition has allowed Shauna to fully understand importance of nutrition, and a healthy relationship with food at any stage in your life. Shauna currently takes on clients in her practice, both in clinic and in the kitchen. Additional to consultations, she offers 1 on 1 cooking classes, group lessons and even a private food and wine pairing! Shauna is also a faculty member of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, teaching Holistic Food Preparation.

Jillian is a 2013 Mississauga campus graduate, currently located in Hamilton, ON. Jillian is a Nutritionist, Clinical Iridologist and Herbalist who consults with her clients in private practice, as well as creates and facilitates group workshops. Additional to her studies and continuing education with IHN, Jillian also attended the East West School of Planetary Herbology in California to study herbal medicine. Jillian has been featured as a public speaker on 102.9 KLite FM, ROGERS TV, and the Live Living Proof Institute podcasts. She is also a regular part of holistic expo shows at the Hamilton and Burlington Wholistic Wellness Expos, as well as the Brian Clement health expos. Jillian also has a YouTube channel to share the message of what herbs and nutrition can do for elevating vitality. Jillian has facilitated many workshops on various topics including: Herbs for Nerves of Steel, Re-Wilding the Womb-yn, and Fit and Fueled. Jillian loves to work with groups and has a variety of clients including garden lovers, spiritual speakers, fitness clients, corporations and holistically minded individuals.

Tina is a 2016 Mississauga campus graduate, currently practicing in Oakville, ON. Prior to her studies at IHN, Tina received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Sociology and Criminology/Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto. She is also a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP). Tina began her clinical work immediately after graduation, and has recently celebrated the two year anniversary of her private practice Tina Gravalos Nutrition! Tina is a passionate advocate for all things holistic wellness, with an interest in digestive health, preventative health, intuitive eating, community health and women’s health. Tina also practices out of The Poppy Clinic in Oakville, which is an all female, multi-disciplinary clinic offering naturopathy, registered massage therapy and holistic nutrition. Aside from practicing at The Poppy Clinic, Tina is a wellness contributor, writing articles for Well TO Do, Toronto’s wellness and fitness guide. When Tina is not in the clinic she loves to engage with her social media community, play soccer (and has for 20 years!) and spend time with family, especially her nieces and nephew.

Leah is a 2017 Mississauga campus Graduate, currently practicing in Toronto, ON. Leah is the founder of Holistic Nutritionista, her private nutritional consulting practice. Before beginning her studies at IHN, Leah had an entirely different career. She had worked for over 20 years in the cosmetic sector, working in various positions for companies like Shoppers Drug Mart and also Johnson & Johnson. It wasn’t until a personal health crisis a few years ago that Leah really started to embrace the philosophy of “In order to be healthy on the outside one must also be healthy on the inside.” In her practice, Leah focuses in the areas of weight loss, digestive imbalances, hormonal imbalance, diet & detoxification and food allergies. She is a mom to two twin girls and knows the importance of having a balanced lifestyle for optimal health. Leah is currently in the process of becoming a qualified Health Coach and is excited to expand her services in clinical practice!

Jolene is a 2016 Mississauga campus graduate, currently practicing in Fergus, ON. Jolene is the founder of Jolene Louter Nutrition, her private practice where she sees clients and develops educational community classes. Previous to IHN, Jolene had a long standing career in the customer service industry. She had worked in this field for 18 years before she started thinking more about health in wellness, both in her personal life and the world around us. Jolene made the decision to ditch her past career, quit her job, and start being a full time student again. After Graduation IHN, Jolene started her practice and has been thrilled to help her clients, both in clinic and in the classroom. To date, Jolene has taught many workshops locally that focus on the areas of holistic food preparation. Her most popular classes include brewing your own kombucha and making your own nut milks. Her fun and informative style of teaching is perfect for easily mastering these practical skills, and she looks forward to expanding her classes beyond the Guelph area!

Laura is a 2012 Mississauga campus graduate, currently living in Etobicoke, ON. Laura is the founder of RADIXetc, a company that combines traditional uses with evidence-based applications of therapeutic herbs to help you make the most of the natural world and stay devoted to your health. After graduating from IHN, Laura’s experience in the health and wellness field was focused in retail before shifting to project management and content creation for Naturally Savvy and The Healthy Shopper, two online resources for natural and organic living. It was the years that Laura spent researching and working in this position that the challenge of finding quality and safe products to use in our daily lives, and the importance of preventative health, became even more apparent. Laura formulated every product in her company RADIXetc with these principles in mind, and her international customer base is testimony that these values are echoed worldwide. Laura recently completed her first successful speaking engagement, and will be facilitating Herbal Medicine-Making workshops during the winter months. Laura is currently completing her final year of training to become a Registered Herbalist, and is a student member of the Ontario Herbalists Association.
