RUTHY TANENBAUM CNP

Ruthy Tanenbaum is a 2012 North York campus graduate, currently practicing in Toronto, ON. Ruthy is the founder of RT Nutrition, a private practice devoted to assisting clients achieve optimal health. Her approach is to help clients though the principles of Holistic Nutrition, as well as the modality of Metabolic Balance.  When working with clients, Ruthy believes in treating the body as a whole, examining root causes, and tailoring dietary and lifestyle recommendations individually.  As well as her private practice, Ruthy also provides nutritional counseling at the Strolf Fitness Boutique. KATHRIN BRUNNER BA, CNP, RYT

Kathrin Brunner is a 2013 North York campus graduate practicing in Toronto, ON. Kathrin is the founder and owner of her practice; For the Love of Body, where she provides nutritional consultations to clients. She is also a faculty member at IHN, teaching multiple courses like Nutrition and the Environment and Psychology of Disease. As a part of her practice, Kathrin has created and launched a series of informative and fun workshops in the Toronto area, and has been running them publicly and privately for the last 6 years. Her most popular workshops are on fermentation, soap making and natural cleaner making. Kathrin is also a teacher of Yoga, with over 900 hours of formal training, teaching regular classes at Yoga Village and Mosaic Yoga in Toronto. She has a few workshops happening in the coming months, some with spots still available! Kathrin will also be a speaker at this year’s Whole Life Expo in November about “The Care and Feeding of Healthy, Glowing, Younger Looking Skin”. ANDREA BARBUTO BA, CNP

Andrea is an October 2018, Mississauga campus graduate, practicing in Caledon, ON. Since graduation, she has been focusing most of her energy starting her food and fermentation business, Revival Ferments. Andrea also takes on clients in her private practice.  When working with clients she operates within the framework of human re-wilding, helping individuals reach an optimal state of health and wellbeing through reconnection to their local landscape. She is a passionate environmentalist and knows that the most fundamental way we interact with our environment is through what we eat.  She believes in using wild, local and seasonal foods, as well as the power of ancestral based diets to heal. Andrea recently completed her first successful speaking engagement, and participates in local markets selling nutrient dense foods and ferments.  She will be facilitating Fermentation and Crafting Medicinal Foods workshops throughout the winter months.  She encourages IHN students, and alumni to enroll, and discover how developing deeper connections to food, and the land from where it came, are crucial steps on our healing journeys. Amanda Burke is a 2011 Mississauga campus graduate, currently working in Toronto, ON. Amanda is a Key Account Manager for Naka Herbs & Vitamins Ltd, the exclusive distributor of Germany’s Hubner Line, and Manufacturer and supplier of Dr. Rona’s Tristar Naturals, Naka Original and Naka Professional. Amanda is also an author at Vitality Magazine, writing articles on topics like nutrition, as well as emerging trends and products in the health and wellness industry. With over 15+ years of experience working with nutrition, supplementation, and alternative therapies, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge to the Natural Retail Channel, Nutraceutical Industry, and Health & Wellness Space. Jennifer Papaconstantinou is a 2008 North York campus graduate, currently practicing in Pickering ON. She is the founder of her practice Heal Naturally, where she sees clients and guides them through their journey of health with a multidisciplinary approach. She has continued training with world renowned Premier Research Labs, Seroyal, Edison Institute of Nutrition and Centennial College. She also has certification from courses in QRA Level II, Clinical Iridology, B.A.S.E. Allergy Therapy, Live Blood Cell Microscopy, Metabolic Balance, and has also completed a Certificate as a Holistic Cancer Practitioner. Additionally, Jennifer works with The Edison Institute of Nutrition as an Educational Assistant & Student Liaison. She is also the Trade Show Manager and Faculty member at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition, where she teaches Symptomatology Part I and Professional Practice. LENA KURGANSKA BA, CNP

Lena Kurganska is a 2012 Mississauga campus graduate, currently living and practicing in Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Lena is the founder of her practice Set For Life, where she aids clients in improving their health with the foundations of holistic nutrition, and therapeutic essential oils. Lena was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, and moved to Canada in 1997. In 2003 she completed her Bachelors Degree at the University of Toronto, then moved back to Ukraine to work in International Relationships. In 2005 Lena moved to the New York with her husband, and started her family. It was there that she began studying yoga and embracing a holistic lifestyle. In 2010 she moved to Canada, and continued her educational journey with IHN. She then started her first practice in Oakville, ON. In 2015, Lena started using essential oils in practice with favourable results, and works with DoTerra to provide them to clients. In 2017, Lena and her family made the decision to relocate to Mexico! Lena currently Skypes with her clients all over the world, and is an active member of her local community. Lena and her husband are also excitedly expecting their third child, due at the end of the year! JANE DURST PULKYS BSc, CNP, NNCP

Jane is a 2005 North York Campus graduate, currently working from Toronto and Hong Kong. Jane is the founder of her practice Creative Health, and is currently Canada’s top Metabolic Balance coach. She has helped over 500 clients lose over 12,500lbs and her goal by 2025 is to help her clients lose 50, 000lbs collectively. She is the sole license holder for Metabolic Balance in Hong Kong and travels extensively back and forth. Between her busy schedule she is writing her second book, which will be realized by the end of 2019. Her full-time practice includes, Metabolic Balance, Psychosomatic energy testing, Live Blood Cell Analysis, Food Allergy testing and Life Coaching. She has also released online courses in Blood Cell Training, Metabolic Balance, and in November, the Holistic Entrepreneur course. Together with her assistant Amanda, they create videos to motivate, inspire and educate people to greater health, with a worldwide audience. Jane is also a frequent guest on Breakfast Television. Jane stays balanced through hot yoga, shopping and a happy healthy family life. Her secret to success is to love what you do. In December Jane is turning 60 and has more energy than ever before and feels like she is just beginning.

Regan Courtney is a 2016 Vancouver campus graduate working in Vancouver, BC. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Yoga Teacher, Holistic Nutritionist & Founder of RAD Life Wellness. For the past 8 years she’s built a thriving business in the health and fitness industry. Her compassionate and integrative approach incorporates movement, healthy food, spiritual connection and nature to uplift the human experience. She offers personal training, nutrition and lifestyle coaching along with a variety of fitness classes. Regan also leads popular Wellness Retreats, workshops & events nationwide. In 2013, Regan was Nominated for a “Women of Distinction Award” and received a Certificate of Excellence for her contributions to enhancing the status of women in the community. During this time Regan also launched a successful program called the “Healthier YOU- Nutrition Challenge” which gained large recognition.
