SHIVA NASSIRI BAA, CNP, CNE

Shiva is a 2017 Mississauga campus graduate, currently working in Milton, ON. Shiva is the founder of Shiva Nassiri, an illustration and design firm that focuses in design for holistic brands. Since graduation, Shiva has used her unique ability to infuse nature, human connection and design, to raise the bar for the brands she works with. Shiva recently opened the doors to her creative design studio, working with the health and wellness community. Through her work, she helps empower her clients to elevate their profile and brands. Her unique ability to holistically merge brand presence and global wellbeing is unique in the marketplace. Shiva has helped her clients do this with personalized branding, graphic design, web design, infographic illustrations, and hand lettering. Shiva originally graduated from Sheridan College and then made a bold move by deciding to go back to school at IHN a few years later. She had a lot of her own health issues and experienced what making a lifestyle change could do for her and imagined what it could do for others. It was difficult making this transition since she had no idea if she could ever bring her two passions together. When she was ready to start her own health and wellness business, she realized how much she loved the designing process. Other students began asking her for help, which eventually lead her to extend her services to the health and wellness community.

CAROLINE DAILLY CNP

Caroline is a 2017 Vancouver campus graduate, working remotely internationally. Caroline is the founder of Graines de Chefs, where she and her team of nutritionists and educators provide nutrition and healthy cooking workshops for kids, as well as their classes and families, in the Greater Vancouver region. Originally from France, Caroline moved to Vancouver in 2006. After her two boys were born, Caroline started to research how to keep them healthy naturally. She realized that nutrition was key for her children and also how much she had actually learned about healthy eating in her childhood. In France, family-style cooking and school restaurants (called “cantines”) contributed to her understanding of how to cook and eat healthy. After graduating from IHN, teaching kids appeared to Caroline as the natural way to go. Caroline believes that if you want to see a change in adults’ health, you need to start with kids and teach them at a young age how to take care of themselves. What is the basis of healthy nutrition? Cook at home, with fresh, whole produce. Caroline decided to start Graines de Chefs to pass this knowledge and values to kids and their families. Caroline has recently made the move back to France from where she is coordinating Graines de Chefs operations in Vancouver and planning to expand to other locations in BC.
