Sherlyn Hu, MSW, RSW is a Chinese-Canadian social worker, educator, holistic nutritionist and grant-winning artist of immigrant background. She is passionate about enabling people to discover our strengths (“we are good enough!”), embrace our flaws (“we are naturally imperfect!”), and connect in nurturing ways (“we make things whole!”). She has published books and peer-reviewed journal articles on mental health, and more. Sherlyn is the co-founder of a Canadian non-profit organization called BETWEEN Arts and Human Services. Her artwork has appeared in different media, including at the University of Toronto, the Toronto Transit Commission vehicles, Canadian consumer products, Bell Box Mural, and local magazines such as Fête Chinoise.
