Kristin Zerbin has had a colourful career in many varying fields. From working on small movie sets as a makeup artist to living in China teaching preschoolers English to her last job as a mediation facilitator at Chopra Yoga. She stumbled into her new career and life path of being a health-based business owner after she returned from China to find that something was not right in her gut. After various tests and trips to the doctor, they found nothing “wrong” and sent her home. Devasted, Kristin took it upon herself to facilitate her own healing, which led her to raw food, then veganism and then into Kombucha. Today, Kristin runs the backend of Hoochy ‘Booch. • Planning sales by account, execution of sales plan, tracking and assessing sales results, performing sales calls, etc.
• In store execution and ensure optimum merchandising
• Develop and enhance existing relationships with customers
• Update website and categorize health articles on it and social media
• Research, recommend and work with complementary companies, bloggers and brand ambassadors to increase brand awareness and sales

This brain nutrition bar was developed as a result of the founder’s (Mick) change in health, wellness and search for a more balanced healthy lifestyle and what he fed his body & brain. Being diagnosed as having a life threatening health condition only correctable with surgery and a change in diet (particularly watching cholesterol), it required him to watch his weight while ensuring he had enough nutritional calories to help the brain and body function to its optimal cognitive, physical, emotional, and intellectual performance. Having received direction and feedback from neuro-physiologists, nutritionists, and naturopathic doctors on the importance of whole food nutrition Mick created Wholly Noggin. Noticing the benefits himself, Mick has decided to share the bars with as many people as possible to positively influence their health.

Founded by two friends, Toronto based Wholly Veggie was created in April 2016 on the belief that the world would be a better place with more veggies on our plates. They currently make a line of vegetarian and vegan products that can be found at retailers across Canada.

Wholly Veggie is a young, dynamic company. They are looking for an individual to join their growing team who has a passion for plant based foods, and who believes in a wellness based approach to living. You will work with the marketing team in helping build out their influencer program in the key markets they service in Canada, as well as other tasks related to building and developing the brand.

SOCIAL MEDIA Primary Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities include:

• Represent brands through informative content creation, to be delivered on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Blogs, Newsletters, Podcasts, etc)
• Social media and computer savvy
• Excellent command of the English language with advanced writing skills

• A passion for developing recipes and wellness content through writing, editing, and visual imagery
• Researching media, community and retail partnership contacts relating to the Brand
• Building Brand Ambassador and Influencer programs

• In store execution and ensure optimum merchandising
• Research, recommend and work with complementary companies, bloggers and brand ambassadors to increase brand awareness and sales

• Schedule in-store demos with retailers
• Ideal to have access to a car (mileage will be compensated)
• A commitment of 50+ hours or more is ideal to gain most benefit for all opportunities
• Hours and times are flexible depending on student’s and store’s/Co-op PEP’s availability
• Demos typically run 1-3 times/week and are often booked Thursday to Sunday (but can happen any weekday) for 4-6 hours at a time
