Christina Bigelow CNP
Christina Bigelow holds a Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition and is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. She is also a Biotherapeutic Drainage (form of homotoxicology) Practitioner, Quantum Reflex Analysis Practitioner, Aroma Therapist, Reiki Master, and a Medical Intuitive.
She has appeared on In the Morning Kitchen on Rogers TV, has been a guest on numerous podcasts and various social platforms. She has guest wrote and collaborated with a diverse range of businesses in the health and wellness sector.
Christina came into the health and wellness industry while on her own journey from chronic health issues. After working for many years as a Quality Engineer, she left that career to pursue her personal healing journey and continue her studies in holistic health. She is the founder of Bigelow Health, where she uses research-based nutrition and supplementation, along with lifestyle and her strong medical intuitive sense to aid in breaking through underlying emotional and physical conditions in her clients to completely transform their health.
When Christina is not working with her clients in a clinic setting, she can be found teaching group cooking classes, public speaking, teaching meditation and Reiki.
Christina uses her extensive background and education in statistics, along with her fondness for research to teach Advanced Nutrition Research at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition Mississauga Campus.
NR 006 Advanced Nutrition Research
Emphasis in this course will be given to statistical research techniques used by academics and practitioners in the field of nutrition. The course involves examining ethical considerations, appropriateness, reliability and validity of research designs. Students will be encouraged to critically analyze research literature in this field.
