About the Presenter

Dr. Cheryl is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. Her journey to becoming a naturopathic doctor started with a passion for health care and preventative medicine using food. She did her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph. There she reaffirmed her belief that diet and lifestyle are the foundations of health. This experience only ignited her intrigue into the human body and uniqueness we all have as human beings. This lead her entry into the four year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Cheryl spends the time needed with her patients to allow them to identify their symptoms and discover root causes through appropriate testing, and then explore treatment options that will be effective and suit their lifestyle. She runs a variety of educational programs aimed at empowering people in their health through education. Cheryl has a general family practice, with a focus on women’s health, fertility, prenatal, and postnatal care. She has taken further training in menopause and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society.
