Angelika Bendrich, DTM, RPC, CNP

Angelika’s career in the field of health and education now spans over three decades. Her journey through a life threatening illness gave her a renewed perspective on living, which she incorporates into her work. Angelika is a Registered Practising Counsellor (RPC), Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) and honours graduate of The Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN) in Toronto. She is the founder of Fundamentals of Life Services in Surrey, BC and, as Reiki Master/Teacher, the owner and founder of REIKIWORKS. She inspires others to find their voice and authentic presentation style and skills. Additionally, Angelika is a Distinguished Toastmaster and past Area 61 Governor in Surrey, BC (2014-2015).

Angelika’s career in the healing arts spans two decades. In life and in work Angelika leads with her heart in providing a compassionate healing space of safety, acceptance and respect, inspired by a deep passion to help individuals with life transition challenges. She has had the ability to see into the very heart and soul of people since she was a little girl. She holds the sacred Truth she sees in others and reflects it back to them until they are ready to see it for themselves. Her vision is to co-create a more peaceful, loving and harmonious world by helping people to create more peaceful, loving and harmonious lives.

Angelika teaches Psychology of Disease and Ayurveda: Mind/Body Healing in IHN’s Diploma program from the Vancouver campus. She also teaches Energy Medicine For Emotional Balance & Stress Management and Energy Medicine for Women in IHN’s Continuing Education program.

  • POD 012 The Psychology of Disease

    This course offers a comprehensive guide to energy and its pathways throughout the body. It discusses “thought” and “emotion” and their relationship to energy and to disease. It challenges the student to explore the thought patterns that may be inhibiting their own health & balance and their ability to succeed at their goals.

  • AMB 02 Ayurveda: Mind/Body Healing

    This course incorporates the philosophy of Holistic Nutrition with spiritual and psychological approaches towards attaining optimal health, through the connection and benefits of sound body and mind. This course will explain the principles and practical applications of Ayurveda, the oldest healing system in the world. Students will learn about the three forces – Vata, Pitta and Kapha, that combine in each being into a distinct constitution. Practical dietary and lifestyle recommendations for different constitutions will also be explored in real case studies.

  • Energy Medicine For Women CEEMW

    This course offers specific Energy Medicine tips and techniques for working with the female client. We focus on teaching your patient how to keep her energy flowing in healthy patterns as first resort, prevention of imbalance, restoration and maintenance of energy and hormonal balance. Receive hands-on healing exercises, practical energy medicine and intuitive development exercises. Whether you are interested in launching an energy healing practice or incorporate energy healing into the practice the curriculum offers in-depth, comprehensive, skill-based and experientially oriented learning activities for practitioners who want to specialize or integrate effective energy healing into their practice.
