Anuja Chindarkar BAMS, PGPP

Anuja is an Ayurveda Vaidya, having completed her graduation as a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in India. Anuja furthered her qualifications in India by completing a Post Graduate Proficiency diploma in ‘Panchkarma’ and practiced in various Ayurveda clinics and hospitals in India as a Registered Medical Officer. Before moving to Vancouver, she had practiced successfully as an Ayurveda Panchkarma specialist at her own clinic in Mumbai, India. She is currently based out of Downtown Vancouver, where she provides consultations in Ayurveda therapy for various ailments. She believes that Ayuveda, being the oldest holistic science known to mankind, holds the key to a truly harmonious life. Anuja teaches Ayurveda: Mind/Body Healing at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition’s Vancouver Campus.

  • AMB 02 Ayurveda: Mind/Body Healing

    This course incorporates the philosophy of Holistic Nutrition with spiritual and psychological approaches towards attaining optimal health, through the connection and benefits of sound body and mind. This course will explain the principles and practical applications of Ayurveda, the oldest healing system in the world. Students will learn about the three forces – Vata, Pitta and Kapha, that combine in each being into a distinct constitution. Practical dietary and lifestyle recommendations for different constitutions will also be explored in real case studies.
