Paul Demeda BFA, CNP

Paul has empowered people to consciously and holistically manage their health for over 20 years. He is dedicated to investigating, clarifying, and explaining important nutrition issues and concepts. He is an ardent proponent of critical thinking in the context of health and published research.

Paul taught in the core diploma program at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition for 17 years, and currently teaches Nutrition & Mental Health and Clinical Detoxification in the Continuing Education Department of IHN.

Paul works as Program Facilitator for the International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine (ISOM), and in 2020 he updated the world-renown Dr. Abram Hoffer’s original book on schizophrenia — now titled Light on Schizophrenia. As well, Paul developed ISOM’s mental health webpages which explain the orthomolecular approach to mental health conditions.

As a holistic nutritionist, Paul has worked with clients for over 20 years, helping them address their health conditions and goals from an nutritional, biochemical, and mental/spiritual perspective.

Paul is driven to increase awareness of the foundational role nutrients play in mental health, detoxification, and illness recovery.
