I couldn’t pick just one! Of course, I loved the cooking classes, but I also have a really soft spot for Psychology of Disease and Herbal Medicine.

Most memorable moment at IHN
There’s not just one moment, but I think what I enjoyed most regarding my courses at IHN was the entire experience of the hands-on cooking classes. These classes really embraced coming together as a community to create and share a beautiful meal, which was both nourishing and delicious. I was reminded during these two short classes about the importance of culture and our relationships surrounding food and the enjoyment of this nourishment — which, has led to much of my current exploration within the health and wellness industry: conscious eating and the integration of our unique mind, body, and soul.

Currently doing in the field of Holistic Nutrition
I am the founder of KIKAN BLVD., the real foods lifestyle brand dedicated to promoting optimal health and nourishment with simple and delicious everyday nutrition. I work with clients one-on-one, providing customized protocols and meal guides, as well personal cooking instruction in the home. I also conduct workshops and discussions about health and nutrition at high schools and in wellness spaces, such as The Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre, where I facilitated a workshop series on mindfulness and mindful eating. Moving forward, I hope to plan and facilitate more of these workshops, as well as host community dinner events that bring together and educate others about nutrition and the conscious, real foods lifestyle that my brand is all about.
