As an alumna, teaching Professional Practice and Professions Skills Development and seeing students’ confidence and sense of purpose flourish. It was such a joy!
Favorite class at IHN
My favourite class was the Psychology of Disease. This course highlighted for me the profound and reciprocal connection between our mind and bodies. We learned how our thoughts and feelings impact our physiology and vice versa, how emotions and trauma live in the body and the role of energy centres, in particular our heart, in our overall well-being.
Currently doing in the field of Holistic Nutrition
I have a group practice, Blue Sky Holistic Psychotherapy, that provides a mind-body approach to well-being. Our services include talk therapy, holistic nutrition and somatic breathwork.
