Most memorable moment at IHN
My most memorable moment at IHN was experiencing the farm trip in the Nutrition and the Environment course. Since all of our learning was online during the pandemic, this was the first time we were able to meet our classmates in person. The trip gave us the opportunity to finally come together outside the classroom. We not only learned about farming techniques, we experienced them firsthand by participating in hands-on activities and exploring urban farming practices that help provide fresh food to local communities.
Favorite class at IHN
My favorite class was Nutritional Symptomatology. It helped me realize that this is where I wanted to be and confirmed that I was on the right path. This class stood out to me because it was where everything we had been learning truly came to life. Using tools like the NutriBody, we explored our own health histories as well as those of friends or family. It also inspired me to think about how I want to run my own practice. I learned a lot about how past experiences shape our health and how to begin addressing them.
Currently doing in the field of Holistic Nutrition
I am currently working in the field of trichology and integrating holistic nutrition to address hair loss and scalp disorders by focusing on root causes and overall health. I take a whole-body approach, considering nutrition, health history, and overall wellness when supporting hair and scalp concerns. By bridging these two worlds, I aim to help clients improve not only their hair and scalp health, but also their long-term well-being
