Most memorable moment at IHN
One of the things I appreciated most about IHN was how the curriculum unfolded. Every course planted another seed, Fundamentals of Nutrition, Symptomatology, Biochemistry, and many others each contributed new insights. There were countless “aha” moments as the dots connected over time, revealing just how interconnected the human body truly is. Looking back, it feels like watching a tree slowly grow: each course became another branch, and by the end of the program it wasn’t simply a collection of facts, but a strong, integrated framework. Today, I continue to draw fruit from that tree in my work with clients, helping them uncover the root causes of illness and cultivate lasting health.
Favourite class at IHN
Fundamentals of Nutrition was my favourite course because it laid the foundation for everything that followed. It was the first course I took, and it completely changed the way I viewed the human body, health, and healing. I was fascinated by how deeply it explored the body’s innate wisdom and the vital role nutrition plays in supporting the body’s natural ability to heal. One phrase our instructor often repeated, “the body has infinite wisdom“, has stayed with me ever since and continues to influence how I approach every client.
Equally impactful was my clinical Co-op placement with Susan Elliotson (Registered Herbalist), where I had the opportunity to see these principles come to life in practice. Watching nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle interventions come together to support the whole person reinforced my belief that nature provides remarkable tools for healing when we learn to work with the body rather than against it. That experience inspired me to continue my education in Herbal Medicine and remains an important influence on the way I practice today.
Currently doing in the field of Holistic Nutrition
I recently opened my holistic nutrition practice, Inner Alchemy Wellness, where I work with clients to help them uncover the root causes of health concerns and build lasting vitality. My approach is rooted in the belief that the body possesses an incredible innate wisdom and, when supported with the right nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and evidence-informed natural therapies, has a remarkable capacity to heal.
While I support a wide range of health concerns, my primary areas of focus include gut and digestive health, stress and adrenal health, nervous system regulation, metabolic health, brain health, and liver support/detox. This Fall 2026, I will begin studying Herbal Medicine to further integrate botanical medicine into my
